An agro-economist (AgroParisTech), he started internationally in 2002 in field positions focused on rural development, food security and humanitarian action: Liberia (2002-2003), Sri Lanka (2003-2005), Sudan (2009) and Myanmar (2009-2011). Between 2005 and 2008, he worked for Groupe URD as a research fellow, mainly based in Afghanistan, first on an action research project on social water management, then on numerous field studies. As an independent consultant since 2012, he has specialized in advisory support and support on agricultural production systems, both in tropical forest environments (Myanmar, Laos, DRC) and in areas affected by repeated droughts (Chad, Haiti). He joined the SalvaTerra team in 2019. He has accumulated 22 years of experience in rural development and environmental protection, including external diagnostics, formulations and evaluations of food security and family farming support projects (including several large-scale evaluations for WFP), climate change adaptation studies, training for development students and practitioners.
