SalvaTerra supports France Bois Forêt (FBF) for the modernization of the French forest-wood sector

The dematerialization and automation of information and data exchanges between economic operators in the French forest-wood sector represents an important competitiveness and traceability challenge. This is why FBF, the FCBA Technological Institute and some operators in the sector launched in 2012 the eMOBOIS program "exchange platform for the supply of wood".

eMOBOIS offers a common language for the exchange of data between operators, from the lumberjack to the sawyer and carriers (More info: https://emobois.fr). Seven years after the start of the program, the results are mixed: eMOBOIS works but struggles to convince a sufficient number of operators.

In 2019, SalvaTerra was mobilized by FBF to provide comprehensive feedback on this program, and propose ways to improve its deployment. 🌍 🦋 🌱 BIODIVERSITÉ. Après les discussions, place à l’action !

La biodiversité mondiale est largement méconnue : 1,9 millions d’espèces sont répertoriées dans le Catalogue of Life mais il en existerait a priori quatre fois plus, soit 8,7 millions ! Et sur ces 8,7 millions, près d’un million sont menacées d’extinction… La 6ème extinction de masse de la biodiversité est en cours.
