Holder of an MSc in Sustainable Development Practice, he has more than 10 years of experience in the fields of rural development, natural resource management and the fight against climate change, particularly in Africa.
Between 2013 and 2018, he spent nearly 6 years in DR Congo (on behalf of Woodwell Climate Research Center – WCRC – and the Wildlife Conservation Society – WCS) to work on the implementation of REDD+ projects, the development of sustainable agricultural value chains (cocoa, rice, palm oil and food crops), land use planning, the protection of biodiversity and the economic development of forest communities.
Before joining SalvaTerra, he also worked as an independent consultant on various projects and studies (DR Congo, Congo, Madagascar, China) related to climate change, development of income-generating activities, Free Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC), compliance with socio-environmental standards, etc.
