Summary of the service

Preparation, within the French climate negotiating delegation, of the "REDD+" sessions (reduction of greenhouse gas - GHG emissions - due to deforestation and sustainable forest management) of the G8 (2007 Summits in Heiligendamm / Germany; 2008 in Toyako / Japan; 2009 in L'Aquila / Italy) and the Major Economies Forum - MEF (group created in March 2009 and bringing together the countries with the highest GHG emitters. Currently, 26 countries account for 80% of global emissions).
